Jordan Valley Community Health Center unveiled a new name and visual identity yesterday to their team members, marking an important step forward for an organization that has grown significantly over the past 20 years; The new name– Jordan Valley Health. While the look is new, the mission remains the same: improving the community’s health through access and relationships.
Jordan Valley Health’s story began when its first physician, Dr. John Bentley, volunteered at a free clinic and saw how many families were left out of the traditional healthcare system. In response to that identified need, founding CEO Brooks Miller led the opening of Jordan Valley Health in the Ozarks–introducing a new model of care based on access, respect, and quality for all.
Since then, we’ve expanded our services and locations to combine healthcare with community support. No matter where we are, our goal stays the same: make care easier, closer to home, and better for everyone. In 2025, we took intentional time to listen to our fellow team members, patients, and the community. We challenged ourselves to consider how we can improve serving one another and our patients–not just in what we do, but how we show up.
During that research process, it became clear that the full organization name did not communicate who we were fully. The name Jordan Valley Health better communicates the breadth of care provided to patients while still staying true to our roots.
The updated brand also includes a new logo designed by agency partner, Fieldtrip, featuring a mother bear and her cub, a symbol of strength, protection, connection, curiosity, and compassion. The former tree logo, originally licensed from Jordan Valley Park, created brand confusion between the health center and the park. The other visual elements of the brand, including the font, posed potential readability challenges for some. The new identity is original, inclusive, and rooted in what patients and team members said quality care should feel like.
Accompanying the new look is a clear message: “We See You.” It’s more than a tagline, it reflects Jordan Valley Health’s commitment to meeting every person with respect, understanding, and care that doesn’t judge.
“Our new identity honors our past and strengthens our promise to serve,” Dr. Matthew Stinson, CEO, shared. “We look forward to seeing the updated look throughout our service area, but more importantly, we look forward to better connecting who we are with the patients we care for.”
The new name and new brandmark will be updated across Jordan Valley Health’s ten locations during 2026 and into 2027, when Jordan Valley Health will celebrate its 25th anniversary.
