What Does PACE Cost?

PACE is typically funded by Medicare and Medicaid to deliver necessary care. All your necessary health care services may be provided if you are covered by Medicare and/or Medicaid. As a PACE participant, all health care services must be provided or arranged by your PACE team (except for emergency services).

There is no cost to submit an enrollment application. Your application is screened by the JVSC intake staff to verify basic eligibility. We complete assessments to determine a prospective participant’s safety in the community.

The services provided by JVSC are covered, in part or in whole, by Medicare and Medicaid. There are no copays or out-of-pocket expenses for participants who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid. A participant will have a fixed monthly premium, or obligation, if:

PACE participants receive all needed healthcare, including primary health care and physician services (other than emergency services) from Jordan Valley Senior Care and may be fully and personally liable for the costs of unauthorized or out-of-PACE program agreement services. Emergency services are covered.

All healthcare services needed by the participant, and approved by the Interdisciplinary Team, are covered by the PACE Program. JVSC participants Medicare Part D coverage for prescription medication. Participants who enroll in a separate Medicare Advantage Plan or Medicare Part D plan while enrolled in PACE will become ineligible for continued enrollment in PACE.
