Amy Jefferey is a physician assistant who strives to make healthcare more approachable and less overwhelming through compassionate care and conversations. Amy graduated with her MS in Physician Assistant Studies from Drury University. Amy started her career at Jordan Valley Health a decade ago, where she worked as a Care Coordinator.
Amy wanted to become a provider because she enjoys helping people understand their healthcare options through education and shared decision making. Practicing medicine has allowed her the opportunity to continuously learn while making a positive impact in her community through evidence-based care. Of the many aspects of patient care, the two that Amy values the most are relationship building and making a difference. She enjoys collaborative problem solving and facilitating open conversations to help reduce fear and uncertainty in healthcare. Amy understands that each patient has a unique story, so she values inclusion and empathy when navigating individual patient care plans. She approaches patient care with compassion and thoroughness. Amy always wants to create a supportive environment where patients feel involved in their healthcare decisions and have their concerns heard. She approaches each patient with kindness, empathy, and treatment tailored to their individual needs.
