Big learning starts with small steps. That’s why our Jordan Valley Early Childhood Academy team is here to help children ages 6 weeks to 12 years build the skills and confidence they need for school and beyond.

Every child deserves a safe place to learn, grow, and feel cared for. At Jordan Valley Health Early Childhood Academy, we help children build the skills they need for kindergarten through hands-on learning, play, and caring teachers. Our classrooms welcome children from 6 weeks to 12 years old and are designed to support each stage of your child's growth.

What makes our academy different is the care your family receives beyond the classroom. Children have access to medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health services, as well as developmental screenings to help them stay on track. We also connect families to community resources, making it easier to get the care and support your child needs to thrive.

About Our Early Childhood Education Center

Our center is focused on the education, social, and physical development of children between the ages of 6 weeks through 12 years old. Our goal is to prepare your child for kindergarten and a sucessful future.

Serving children and families by providing access to education, healthcare, and community resources.

Our Classes

Daily consistent love and care, in addition to age-appropriate developmental support.
- Parent-teacher written plan to best meet the needs of your little one
- Formula and wipes offered in addition to breakfast, lunch, and snack
- Breastfeeding/breast milk options available
- Daily preschool lesson plans with a focus on kindergarten readiness, speech development, and social skills, with implementation of a traditional curriculum
- Potty Training Boot Camp
- Developmental evaluations and referrals
- Social-emotional support through play and intentional lessons
- Enrichment program including art, music, outdoor education, and library
- Breakfast, lunch, rest time, and snack
- Monthly themes with parent resources including calendar and newsletter
- Events and classroom parties
- Daily preschool lesson plans with a focus on kindergarten readiness, speech development, and social skills, with implementation of a traditional curriculum

Children's Health Assessments

Jordan Valley Early Childhood Academy wants you and your family to learn and grow together. That's why every participant in our program has access to comprehensive pediatric health care. This means every student can receive medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health services on-site, and we will provide a developmental assessment at enrollment and before moving up to the next classroom.

As a part of the Academy, your family will also receive a needs assessment. This assessment will help us learn more about you, your family, and how one of our Community Health Workers might help you access programs and resources you may benefit from. This Community Health Worker will also help your entire family with medical, vision, and dental appointments.

Well-child visits, immunizations, and sick visits.

Dental

Tooth exams, cleanings, fillings, caps, and dental health education to help the littlest teeth.

Occupational, physical, and speech therapy to improve developmental outcomes.

Common Questions and Answers

Our Early Childhood Academy groups children into five classrooms. Those classrooms are:
- Infants and toddlers up to 24 months.
- Two-year-olds (Pumpkin Sprouts).
- Three-year-olds (Apple Blossoms).
- Four and five-year-olds (The Acorn Patch).
- Kids ages 6 to 12 (Boon's Buddies). Boon's Buddies an after-school program that runs from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
Each class follows a daily lesson plan focused on kindergarten readiness, speech, and social skills. Kids also do art, music, outdoor time, and library time.
Meals are included, and parents get a monthly calendar and newsletter so they know what their child is working on.
Yes, the Seedlings class is for children from 6 weeks to 24 months.
Staff work directly with parents to create a care plan for each baby. We provide formula, wipes, and meals. Breastfeeding and breast milk options are also available.
Yes, kids enrolled at the Academy have access to medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health care through Jordan Valley Health.
Developmental screenings happen at enrollment and again before each classroom move. Community Health Workers are on hand to help connect your family to whatever else you might need.
When you enroll, the Academy does a brief assessment to better understand what your family might need support with. From there, Community Health Workers help you connect with health care, community partners, or other resources.
