Shelly Kahler

Shelly Kahler is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at the Lebanon: Highway 5 location. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Central Missouri, following a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. John's School of Nursing and Southwest Baptist University, and an Associate of Science in Nursing. She holds numerous certifications, including through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), along with ACLS, BLS, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

Shelly has wide-ranging experience across many areas of medicine, including intensive care (cardiovascular, neuro-trauma, medical, surgical, and step-down), primary care and family practice, long-term care, hospice and palliative care, and pediatrics. She has provided care for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors, and has managed both acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disorders, and COPD. Shelly is also an experienced nurse practitioner preceptor, having mentored others.
