Misty Lopez

Misty Lopez, PA, is an experienced Physician Associate providing care in Medical Express Care at Jordan Valley Health's Springfield: Tampa location. She earned her Master's in Physicians Associate Studies from Missouri State University, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in microbiology at Missouri State University. Misty is a certified Physician Associate through the NCCPA and holds BLS certification along with her Missouri medical license.

Misty brings more than 15 years of clinical experience to her practice, having spent much of her career in family practice as an advanced practice provider. During that time, she took on leadership responsibilities, served on APP Symposium committees, and shared her knowledge as a preceptor for mentoring physician assistant students. Her broad clinical skill set includes chronic condition management, weight loss care, joint and trigger point injections, laceration repair and suturing, biopsies, and a range of in-office procedures, allowing her to meet a wide variety of patient needs.
