Michele Litchy

Michele Litchy, Ed.D, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Behavioral Health Consultant serving patients at Jordan Valley Health's Springfield (Tampa) location. With 30 years of experience spanning mental health, educational leadership, and policy analysis, Michele brings deep expertise and a genuine passion for helping others to every interaction. She earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri–Columbia, along with an Educational Specialist degree and a Master of Science in Counseling from Pittsburg State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southwest Missouri State University.

Michele became a provider to help people improve their lives through support and positive relationships. She approaches her work with integrity and ethics, collaborating respectfully with patients to find innovative ways to help individuals and families achieve success in their lives. What she enjoys most is partnering with her patients by walking alongside them as they work toward meaningful, lasting change. Her areas of experience include crisis management, group work, team building, and supervision of counseling techniques, and she has contributed to the field through published work and professional presentations on counseling and group therapy.
