Meleah Morales

Dr. Meleah Morales, D.O., is a family medicine physician with a special focus on pediatric care, serving patients and families at Jordan Valley Health's Republic location. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCOM) and completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Morales became a doctor out of a lifelong love for people, especially children, and a deep curiosity for science and learning. Realizing she could use her understanding of how the body works to help people stay healthy and feel better when they're sick, she knew medicine was the right calling for her.

Dr. Morales believes in caring for the whole person. Her approach considers not only the physical aspects of health, but also mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being, as well as the social and cultural factors that influence a patient's life. While she prescribes medications and treatments when needed, her true focus is preventive care, grounded in the best available evidence. She is always happy to answer questions and take the time to address concerns thoroughly, and she considers her patients' parents to be the most important and valued members of the care team, partners she works alongside to ensure every child receives the best possible care.

What Dr. Morales loves most about her work are the relationships she builds with her patients and their families. She especially enjoys supporting first-time parents through the sleepless nights and anxious questions of life with a newborn and finds great joy in seeing those same families return years later feeling confident and at ease. Empowering parents to give their children the best start in life is at the heart of what she does. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Morales volunteers in children's ministry and on the worship team at her church.
