Maranda Hollins

Maranda Hollins earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Des Moines Area Community College and brings expertise in preventive care to her patients. She is highly skilled in dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, oral cancer screenings, and oral health education. Caring and thorough, she thrives in both fast-paced dental offices and community health clinics, working collaboratively with dentists and colleagues to address each patient's restorative, orthodontic, periodontal, and cosmetic needs. She takes pride in instructing patients on effective brushing and flossing techniques and recommending quality oral care products to support lasting oral health.

Maranda became a healthcare provider for one simple reason: to help people. "I most enjoy helping people improve their oral health, so they can improve their overall health," she shares. She loves talking patients through their appointments and finds great satisfaction in easing dental anxiety whenever she can.

Beyond her clinical work, Maranda has a meaningful record of community service. While working as a Registered Dental Hygienist at Siouxland Community Health Center, she served as an I-Smile Coordinator, helping underprivileged children connect with dental providers, delivering presentations to schools, shelters, day cares, and city councils, and helping families find funding and schedule appointments. She also holds valuable experience in pharmacy and insurance billing, giving her a well-rounded perspective on patient care and the healthcare system as a whole.
