Family Medicine
From checkups and sniffles to stomachaches and sprains, our primary care team team is here to provide long-term care and support.
Leah Crouse is a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to evidence-based, culturally competent care for diverse patient populations. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty from Cox College in Springfield, Missouri, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing there and an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from St. John's School of Nursing at Southwest Baptist University. With more than two decades of nursing experience, including years in labor and delivery, women's health, and nursing leadership roles, Leah brings deep clinical knowledge and strong, thoughtful judgment to every patient she sees. She is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board and maintains advanced skills in women's health procedures, including colposcopy, Papanicolaou testing, and IUD insertion and removal.
Leah knew from a young age that she wanted to work in the medical field to provide comfort and care to patients. After years of nursing, she realized she wanted to make an even greater difference in people's lives by helping them achieve better health and quality of life. Becoming a nurse practitioner allowed her to take a more active role in treating and advocating for patients across the full continuum of care. What she enjoys most are the interactions with her patients and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives. She deeply values the relationships she builds as she works alongside each person to develop care plans and set goals for lasting health improvement.
Leah wants her patients to know that her approach to care is grounded in service. She considers it a true privilege to care for the people she sees, and views her role as one of listening, understanding, and working together with patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
