Courtney Barr

Courtney Barr believes that building independence, confidence, and routines is essential as an occupational therapist. Courtney graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy from Cox College. She has been a provider at Jordan Valley since 2024.

Courtney became an occupational therapist because she is passionate about helping people participate in life in meaningful ways on their own terms. She values supporting individuals so they can engage in the activities that matter most to them. Courtney enjoys getting to know each individual patient and building relationships with the people she works with. Each person has their own goals, experiences, and strengths; Courtney values being able to support them in ways that are meaningful and personalized to their lives. When caring for her patients, Courtney takes a holistic, person-centered approach. She strives to understand the whole individual—their goals, routines, strengths, and challenges—so she can work with them to create treatment plans that support their quality of life.
