Chris Heinzel

Chris Heinzel graduated with an Associate of Dental Hygiene from Illinois Central College. After graduating, Chris went to the U.S. Navy where he served as a dental hygienist assistant administrator. He has been providing great care at Jordan Valley Health since 2022.

While serving in the Navy, it was suggested for Chris to consider the Dental Tech Training School. He was initially interested in the program because it was something he could do to help people. Chris enjoys how his career allows him to help people while building lasting relationships. He likes seeing patients happy when they improve their oral health. Chris also enjoys being able to help people when they are nervous. He does this by calming them down and reassuring them that they will be well taken care of and happy once they get their treatment completed. By doing this, Chris hopes to not only help his patients, but to educate them about their current dental issues and how to prevent future ones.

Chris is incredibly generous and volunteers frequently. He volunteered at nursing homes helping residents that were unable to leave their facilities to get preventative dental care. He also completed a mission trip to South America where he helped build new buildings for unhoused children. Chris also volunteered in the Philippines during his time in the Navy. There he gave dental care to residents of remote islands that had no care available. When Chris has free time, he loves traveling with his family, carpentry, weightlifting, and fantasy football. During football season, he loves to cheer on his favorite team, the Pittsburg Steelers.
