Behavioral Health
All Jordan Valley Health patients have access to individual and group therapy to improve their health and growth.
Ariel Scott is a behavioral health consultant who works at the Tampa campus. She approaches care with an open mind and compassion. Ariel graduated with her Master of Social Work from Widener University. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Resilience Focused EMDR.
Ariel's desire to become a provider stemmed from the belief that a therapist who listens, cares, and treats others with compassion can change the trajectory of a person's experience. Ariel wants to be the person who helps others feel seen, heard, and supported during vulnerable moments in their lives. Ariel enjoys being able to support people throughout their healing journey. She values helping patients build self-efficacy, increase self-awareness, and improve their self-esteem so they can feel more confident and empowered in their lives. She also enjoys helping people recognize and connect with their strengths, especially during vulnerable or challenging times. Ariel approaches care with compassion, flexibility, and collaboration. She believes in meeting people where they are and creating a safe, trauma-informed space where they feel comfortable being themselves. She sees treatment as a partnership and wants patients to feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in building a care plan that aligns with their needs, strengths, and goals.
