Aaron Small, PharmD

Aaron Small is the pharmacy director for Jordan Valley Health. He believes that the key to good patient care is treating others as you want to be treated. Aaron earned his PharmD from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1999 and has since accumulated over 20 years of experience working for pharmacies in Missouri and Illinois. At Jordan Valley, Aaron oversees and manages all pharmacy operations.

Aaron became a pharmacist to help patients feel better and stay healthy. His favorite part of being a pharmacist is forming bonds with patients and getting to know their stories. Aaron firmly believes in providing access and removing medication barriers; this makes him feel as though he can positively impact a patient's health and well-being. His approach to patient care involves staying humble and working with the patient to find the best solutions to problems.

In addition to his work as a pharmacist, Aaron has been a part of many organizations. Most notably, he served on the committee for the Missouri Pharmacist Association and was the president of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Springfield chapter. Aaron has also spent his time volunteering for many non-profits including the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association.
